Christmas + New Years trip to alps / Snow Travel Show this weekend

We are going skiing/snowboarding from Christmas through New Years, and we would like to get more people to come. There is a snow travel show in London this coming Saturday, Oct 10, that we will be visiting and booking on the day to get a great deal. All welcome to come down, meetup with us, and ideally have a trip booked before leaving the event. Respond to this thread and let me know if you're coming down.

Got a meetup posted for this on the ski meetup calendar:
http://www.meetup.com... We're thinking of flying out on Dec 24 (evening) or next day and staying through new years. In late Dec conditions will be better higher up, so France or Switzerland. Chamonix comes to mind. Cost, not sure. Hoping to score a good deal at the snow show this w/e. Mike and I are set of going snowboarding around then. We're going to arrive and start cruising around at 11AM. As we'll be walking around and I don't know the venue, rather than a specific meeting location we'll wear meetup signs on the fronts/backs of our shirts. Just give us a call and we'll tell you where we are.

Hey Mat
Im a bit of a newbie to snowboarding, just went for a week last year but realised what Ive been missing! Ive just joined this group after pals have whimped out of a planned trip over Xmas. I would be up for a week over Xmas/new year 24th to around 2nd etc. Did you guys book anything? |
