BelowZero Restaurant and Lounge - first London Snow meetup
I thought it might be a wicked idea for us to meetup at the Absolut ice bar in London,and a lot of you have emailed with your support...unfortunately the bar is fully booked, but have managed a booking for 11 at Below Zero Restaurant.
This will be an excellent opportunity to meet other like minded passionate ski/boarders and to find out what ski trips the different people are going on, or to find people to join you on your trip.

This is ajoined to the famouse (but really impossible to book large groups for at short notice Ice Bar, made of solid ice and is -5 inside.) Just to be clear, the restaurant is warm and cozy. It's just next to a brrr chilly bar.
If this event is fully booked, then please put your name on the waiting list to be notified of any cancellations.
For those of you who cant make it, I will arrange a pub meetup shortly.
Meals are £25 pp, which means £10 extra on top of the £15 deposit to RSVP.
Update-Mon-1stFeb : Just to clarify, if you've already paid £15 deposit, then you only need to pay an additional £10 on the night to the restaurant for your meal + any drinks orders.
Anyone who didnt get my email about the change from the Ice bar to the restaurant and who can't make it, please email me for a refund.
Please note the RSVP deadline is strictly Wednesday 6pm due to the difficulties in booking at this popular restaurant.

Aleksandra educated us about some incredibly good deals and fun times to be had in Poland (off the beaten path) and we're going to try to plan a fun trip there to do some exploring. John pointed out some new places to explore... Russia perhaps on the cards soon? All in all a great evening, excellent food and I couldnt have asked for better company. We were at the venue early, but not too early, 6:45pm, so that there was atmosphere but still quiet enough we could have good conversations.
I'm definately looking forward to the next meetup, which we all think is going to be either the Ice Bar, or the new indoor ski centre at Hamel Hamptsted.

I had a great time even though it was for just about 3 hours or so.Hope to do something like this again soon and maybe talk to a few more people as I only really got to chat with the five other people only my table who were all very pleasant .Just hope this ski and snowboard meet up is the start of a good group of like minded people who I will get to see again soon. Maybe a visit to the indoor ski dome at Hemel Hempstead could be a good day out for the meetup group? Thanks once again Alan for great night out! John
