We talked about lots of different ideas for great (budget) get away ski weekends and jaunts. Aleksandra educated us about some incredibly good deals and fun times to be had in Poland (off the beaten path) and we're going to try to plan a fun trip there to do some exploring. John pointed out some new places to explore... Russia perhaps on the cards soon? All in all a great evening, excellent food and I couldnt have asked for better company. We were at the venue early, but not too early, 6:45pm, so that there was atmosphere but still quiet enough we could have good conversations. I'm definately looking forward to the next meetup, which we all think is going to be either the Ice Bar, or the new indoor ski centre at Hamel Hamptsted.

Call me excitable but I thought it was amazing, much better than pony dry slopes, far easier to negotiate than carpet! Totally changed my mind about sitting out any holiday goings on! I'll get a second job to get out on the slopes again!!
